LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Emergency Medicine PA in Minnesota!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This opportunity starts on Jan 19, 2026, and features a unique schedule of Monday 9am to Monday 9am. The ideal candidate will be comfortable running the ER as the solo provider alongside one nurse.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the solo provider in the emergency room setting with support from one nurse
  • Deliver acute care and manage a wide range of emergency cases
  • Ensure timely and effective patient assessment, stabilization, and treatment
  • Collaborate professionally within a team-based environment
  • Adhere to facility protocols and maintain high standards of clinical practice

  • Active Minnesota PA license required
  • Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must have strong experience and confidence practicing independently in an emergency room
