We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor In Training (LSIT) to join our team. This role provides the opportunity to work on State, Local Government, and private projects , primarily in the transportation sector, alongside multidisciplinary teams.

About the Role

The LSIT plays a crucial role in assisting licensed Professional Land Surveyors (PLS) with land surveying tasks and projects. Responsibilities include data collection, fieldwork, calculations, and ensuring the accuracy of survey work. Key Responsibilities

• Field Work : Operate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS units, and levels to conduct land surveys. Collect field data and ensure precise measurements.
• Data Processing : Assist in managing and processing survey data, including calculations and adjustments.
• Boundary Surveys : Support boundary survey efforts, including researching property records, setting survey monuments, and preparing survey plats.
• Topographic Surveys : Participate in topographic and site surveys for engineering and construction projects.
• Construction Staking : Assist in construction staking activities by providing layout information to contractors.
• AutoCAD / GIS : Utilize AutoCAD and GIS software for drafting and mapping tasks.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of field notes, survey data, and project documentation.
• Safety Compliance : Ensure all surveying activities adhere to industry and company safety standards.
• Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with survey teams, engineers, and other professionals to achieve project goals.
