Senior Transportation Operations Manager
Legacy Supply Chain is hiring an experienced Senior Transportation Operations Manager to support our fleet located in Brea, CA. The Senior Transportation Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily work of the operations which includes maximizing processes and procedures while meeting the customer expectations. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.
Schedule and Compensation :
- Monday through Friday scheduled starting at 2 : 00am
 - Starting salary between $90,000 and $100,000 per year

What to expect as Senior Transportation Operations Manager :
Supports the daily performance of fleet operations including safety, compliance, driver leadership, equipment utilization, and fleet maintenanceManage driver performance and activity to ensure a safe work environment and high level of customer serviceIdentify and resolve delivery and scheduling problems through timely communication with customers, drivers, and delivery locationsEnsure compliance with DOT, OSHA, federal and state regulations, as well as company rules and policiesCreate a positive work environment that is consistent with the Company's values and objectivesFoster a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, quality, and customer satisfactionLead workplace safety improvement through utilization of EHS and compliance processes, systems, policies and initiativesEnsure all operations are carried on in a service focused, cost-effective wayImprove operational management systems, processes, and best practicesSupport the organization's processes to remain legally compliantFormulate strategic and operational objectivesExamine financial data and use it to improve profitabilityPerform quality controls and monitor production KPIsInterview, train and supervise staff across sites and shiftsWork with customer staff on-site to enhance service performance and productivityOther duties as assignedQualifications :
5 years of increased responsibility within supply chain or transportation functions3 years of operations management experience within a transportation settingBA or BS preferred or equivalent related work experienceAvailability to lead team performance across 3 shift operations with primary working hours Monday through Friday beginning at 2amExperience managing local CDL driversStrong analytical, financial, and P&L competencies required to succeedKnowledge of key transportation processes and current best practicesExperience supervising driver dispatch department preferredAbility to influence and persuade in order to achieve desired outcomesAbility to effectively communicate, interact and convey business decisions with many different levels within the organizationExperience with and knowledge of DOT regulationsProven work experience as an operations / transportation supervisorKnowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations managementExperience with budgeting and forecastingFamiliarity with business and financial principlesExcellent communication skills, leadership ability, and organizational skillsWhy Legacy Supply Chain?
