Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support a new 5K self-contained transition class within an elementary school setting. This role focuses on creating a flexible and inclusive learning environment that supports young students with diverse needs, helping them to gradually transition into traditional classroom settings with the assistance of two dedicated aides.

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students in a self-contained 5K transition classCollaborate closely with two teaching assistants to provide consistent and supportive educational experiencesDevelop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progressFacilitate a fluid classroom environment where students may gradually integrate into traditional 5K classes as appropriateFoster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports social, emotional, and academic growthmunicate regularly with families and school staff to ensure alignment on student goals and progressDesired Qualifications and Experience :
Certification in Special Education (appropriate state licensure required)Experience working with young children in special education settingsAbility to design and adapt curriculum for diverse learning needsStrong collaboration and munication skills, especially within multi-disciplinary teamsPatience, flexibility, and mitment to student-centered teaching methodologiesThis full-time contract provides a meaningful opportunity to impact early childhood education for special learners through a dynamic, transition-focused classroom model.
