Position Overview :
The OQC Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that the final solar panels meet the company's high-quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of quality control procedures, and effective collaboration with production and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Quality Inspections : Perform comprehensive final inspections of completed solar panels to verify compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
- Testing Procedures : Conduct electrical and mechanical testing on finished products, utilizing specialized equipment and adhering to established protocols.
- Documentation : Accurately document test results, inspection findings, and any non-conformities, ensuring records are thorough and up-to-date.
- Defect Management : Identify defects, analyze their root causes, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Compliance Assurance : Ensure products meet applicable safety and quality standards, including industry regulations and company quality guidelines.
- Process Improvement : Assist in continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback and suggesting process changes that enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance : Maintain and calibrate inspection and testing equipment as needed to ensure accurate measurements.
- Communication : Work closely with other quality control team members, production supervisors, and engineers to address quality issues and implement solutions.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or GED required. An associate degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus.Experience : Minimum of [insert preferred years, e.g., 2+ years] experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or solar panel production environment.Technical Skills : Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, calipers, microscopes).Knowledge : Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and general safety protocols.Attention to Detail : Strong observational and analytical skills with a commitment to product excellence.Communication Skills : Effective verbal and written communication skills to document findings and interact with team members.Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and think critically to identify the root cause of defects.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with solar panel manufacturing.Knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) systems and components.Certification in quality inspection or related fields.Physical Requirements :
