Job description12 years of janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred Must have own vehicle (location is remote in Sandbridge) Comfortable working indoors / outdoors in various weather Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude Laid-back, supportive team with long tenure Full benefits offered upon permanent hire Opportunity to grow into lead or maintenance roles Beautiful beachfront property worksite Pay Rate : $17.00 $18.00 / hr Bill Rate : $27.84 $29.11 / hr OT Multiplier : x1.5 Duration : 5-month contract-to-hire Benefits (if eligible) : Medical, dental, vision 401(k) with pre-tax and Roth options Life & disability insurance HSA, transportation benefits PTO, vacation, sick leave Employee Assistance Program On-site interview with Schelby (Facilities Manager) and James (Property Manager) Includes a tour of the facility Dress Code : Polo / blouse, closed-toe shoes, jeans / khakis Must have 3 candidates ready to start on October 8th Additional 2 positions will open after this group
Custodial Maintenance Worker
Sanctuary at False Cape is building an internal janitorial team to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of its beachfront condominium property. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for growth into lead or maintenance technician roles. You'll be responsible for maintaining common areas onlyno entry into private condo units.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain : lobby, office, lounge, event rooms; common bathrooms and hallways; parking garage and outdoor grounds
- Perform janitorial duties : sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, surface cleaning
- Assist maintenance team with : clearing spider webs and bugs, power washing outdoor walkways, general exterior upkeep
- Report safety hazards or maintenance issues
