CVOR Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Burlington, VT 05401 (Vermont nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 6 weeks (September 1, 2025 – October 12, 2025)

Hours per Week : 40

Shift : 10-hour rotating shifts (call and weekend rotation required)

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Possible Float : Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus (flexibility required)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,680 - $2,870

CVOR RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state)

BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred

Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience in a large teaching hospital (strong candidates with similar experience considered)

Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles (ensure both skills are documented)

Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required for healthcare jobs)

Comprehensive knowledge of ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro procedures

Reliable transportation required (public transportation not accessible in this area)

All-season or snow tires recommended for vehicles during November–April

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), performing both scrub and circulate duties

Participate in call and weekend rotations as scheduled

Float to other surgical units or campuses, including Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus, as needed

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, academic hospital environment
