Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a night shift role in an acute care setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care hospital within a CT / Xray department alongside 4 CT rooms and multiple imaging modalities
  • Patient population is varied with diverse imaging and study requirements
  • Utilizes GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners
  • EMR is Epic and PACS is McKesson
  • Night shift, Friday through Sunday, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • May float to cover CT, X-ray, OR, Endo, and ED areas as needed
  • Call and holiday coverage are required
  • Orientation consists of 1-2 shifts
  • Duties include performing a variety of CT and X-ray procedures, operating GE scanners, and documenting in Epic
  • Radiation badge provided
  • Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and may not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off may be approved if submitted upfront
  • Holiday rotation is required
  • Flexible, positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued for success
  • Scrub attire requirements may apply

  • Minimum 2 years recent CT experience required
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required
  • Active state or compact licensure is required; license must be active at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
  • Experience with GE CT scanners is required
  • Experience using Epic EMR and McKesson PACS preferred
  • Driver's license is required to verify distance from facility
  • X-ray imaging experience preferred
  • Must provide two professional references : one supervisor reference from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from the past 3 years
