Electrical Assembly Technician
This position is for a 1st shift Electrical Assembly Technician, with working hours from Monday to Thursday. Employees will be informed on Wednesday mornings if overtime is required on Friday. We have openings for four positions across different departments, including Wire and DC Departments.
Responsibilities
In the Wire Department, work closely with mold technicians to create wire groupings, pull wire, couple the wires, and spool the wire. This role is physically demanding.
In the DC Department, set up panel boxes, switchboards, and wires for daily tasks. Assemble solar panel power boxes and switchboards in a large, clean, and quiet manufacturing facility.
Pull and spool wire, read prints to determine part assembly locations, and work as a team on the assembly line using hand tools, air power tools, and torque wrenches.
Assemble 64 panels per day, once trained, by screwing in screws, nuts, and bolts, and stripping wires into metal plates.
Essential Skills
Blueprint or Schematic Reading
Ability to read a tape measure
Experience using basic hand tools
Proficiency in electrical wiring
Print reading and electrical assembly skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Willingness to learn crimping devices, wire machines, and strip machines

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
