State Licensed Revenue Auditor

A company is looking for an Auditor, Revenue Optimization (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Audit medical records to identify missed charges and coding inconsistencies

Perform root cause analyses and prepare reports on audit findings

Provide coding support and assist with clinical documentation recommendations

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years coding experience

Must have and maintain an approved coding credential through AAPC or AHIMA

Must obtain at least one additional certification (CANPC or CPMA) within 1 year of employment

Extensive knowledge of medical billing software and electronic medical records

Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Excel, including basic formulas and pivot tables
