- Shift : Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts / week (19 : 00 – 07 : 30)\n
- Weekly Hours : 36\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1720–$1840\n
- Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 or 1 : 1\n
- Floating : Required between ICU / PCU units and affiliate hospital (within 15 minutes)\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- Active RN license (Oregon RN license may be pending at submission)\n
- Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience in a hospital with 300+ beds\n
- At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience required\n
- Epic EMR experience required\n
- BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
- Proficient in IV start, telemetry, conscious sedation, and ventilator management\n
- No first-time travel nurses\n
- Preferred : CCRN, CPI, TNCC certifications; experience with ICP monitoring and pulmonary artery lines\n
- Ability to float between ICU / PCU units and affiliate hospital as needed\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in a busy ICU\n
- Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions : sepsis, respiratory failure, traumatic brain injury, stroke, multi-system organ failure, GI bleeding, and post-neurosurgical interventions\n
- Initiate and maintain IVs, manage ventilators, titrate vasoactive drips, and administer conscious sedation\n
- Interpret telemetry and arterial blood gases; respond rapidly to acute patient changes\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response\n
- Float to other ICU / PCU units and affiliate hospitals as required\n
