Responsibilities Work in an angiography department specializing in vascular and interventional procedures Patient population focuses on invasive, diagnostic, and interventional imaging cases Ten-hour day shifts, four days per week with on-call responsibilities Use of advanced imaging and angiography equipment is required Epic EMR charting system is utilized and experience is expected Duties include proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation for exams Produce quality images using correct exam techniques and operation of imaging equipment Responsible for accurate completion of required documentation including image storage Assist as circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech per department protocols Apply closure devices, suture or remove sheaths, and provide hemostasis as needed Role involves frequent communication with care providers, patients, and visitors, especially during emergencies Must be able to navigate crowded and equipment-dense environments Radiation safety principles must be consistently followed Epic charting experience is required Requirements Active ARRT certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA required State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable Minimum of one year experience in vascular or interventional radiology High school diploma or GED required Vascular / Interventional radiography certification or at least one year of angiography / interventional experience required Manual dexterity to handle complex equipment, ability to lift and transfer patients, and physical ability to stand for extended periods Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-641125.
