Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care cardiac cath lab Day shifts, 4x10 hours, typically from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Patient caseload involves adult cardiac cases Role includes scrubbing for cath lab procedures Charting is done in Epic EMR; prior experience is preferred but not required Floating to other nearby hospital locations within a 20-mile radius may be required Weekend shifts may be discussed with the manager Responsibilities include scrubbing and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures Block scheduling is not available Modules must be completed promptly upon assignment confirmation Further floating may be required within the clinical scope as per facility policy Blue scrubs are required First-time travelers are welcome Free parking available in unrestricted spaces All time-off requests must be discussed and approved prior to assignment Assignment limits to 18 consecutive months at this facility with a 6-month break required before returning Permanent and per diem candidates must have a 1-year break between assignments at any related facility Requirements Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab experience required, 2 years preferred Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) or RCIS preferred Must hold a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted Two manager, ANM, supervisor, or director references from the past 12 months in this specialty required Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start Must be nicotine free (nursing / CSTs temporarily exempt) Acceptable ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments required during orientation Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-636994.
