Overview :

The Neuro Step Down Unit is hiring a nurse Charge RN ) to join their dedicated team of high-performing nurses that provide exceptional patient care within their 29-bed unit. This unit is highly specialized neurology Step-Down, dedicated to the special care required for patients who are recovering from neurosurgery , or neurological injuries – to include psych patients. Qualifications : Other information :

Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire

Experience : Minimum One year of nursing experience required

Licensure : State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.

• Additional Requirements based upon area of service
• CDS Inpatient
• Progressive and Critical Care Units : ACLS
• Emergency Departments : ACLS, PALS
• Pediatrics / PICU : PALS
• Newborn Nursery / Mother-Baby Care / NICU : NRP
• Family Birthing Center : NRP and Fetal Monitoring; permanent charge requires ACLS in addition to others
• Pre-op / Operating Room / PACU : ACLS, PALS
• Oncology Chemotherapy certification
