GP Strategies Government Solutions has an opening for a Training LMS Technology Administrator to work with a large aerospace client of ours in San Antonio, TX. This is an onsite position, Monday – Friday and it’s a full-time, benefitted position.

Job Summary :

We’re seeking an individual to become an in-house expert on the Covalent training management tool. In this role, you’ll support production leaders by providing tool education, troubleshooting assistance, and training and coaching—virtually and interactively on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Become the expert on all facets of the Covalent tool.
  • Support production leaders with education and operation of Covalent. Provide training and coaching as required, virtually and interactively on the shop floor.
  • Assign Covalent end user roles and permissions as required.
  • Perform manual build of structured on-the-job training (SOJT) in Covalent when needed.
  • Work with production leaders to ensure Covalent licenses are activated and deactivated as appropriate.
  • Assist with generating manual and automated reporting.
  • Provide local troubleshooting support when needed. Contact the Covalent help desk for assistance when necessary.

Qualifications :

  • Experience working with training platforms, LMS tools, or operational support systems
  • Experience providing end-user training, coaching, or help desk support
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Detail-oriented with experience managing user access or permissions
  • Prior exposure to Covalent or similar manufacturing training tools preferred
  • Understanding of SOJTs and production-level onboarding practices preferred

    General physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of this job may vary based on location of assignment.

  • Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Fingering (typing), communicating, repetitive motions.
  • Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting.
  • Inside environmental conditions with protection from outside elements.
