Job description

United Contractor Services is a leading national subcontractor specializing in high-quality commercial drywall construction for large-scale projects across the country. We're looking for a Commercial Construction Business Development Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit, outgoing personality, and a knack for driving project success while fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere on our team and with clients.

The Role :

As a Business Development Manager, you will :

  • Prospect, identify, and establish relationships with potential clients in the construction industry.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent growth.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that add real value to their operations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Hit and exceed sales targets through determination, strategic planning, and sheer tenacity.
  • Travel locally and out of state to meet clients, attend industry events, and expand your network.

What We're Looking For :

  • Proven sales experience in the construction industry (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • A go-getter mentality with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A knack for problem-solving and creative thinking in a competitive market.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly, both locally and out of state.
  • Determination to tackle challenges head-on and close deals with confidence.
