Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a CO or compact RN license and EPIC charting experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the ICU unit within a hospital setting

Night shifts consist of 12-hour shifts, three days per week

May require floating to other departments within competency and qualifications

On-call may be required during scheduled shifts

Uses EPIC for electronic medical records; prior experience required

Perform independent and delegated nursing functions following professional standards and protocols

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate critical care nursing interventions for ICU patients

Contribute to health teaching, counseling, and therapy for patients and families

Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

May support, consult, or supervise others as needed on the unit

Requirements

Active CO or compact RN license required and must be in hand prior to consideration

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required, BSN preferred)

Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be valid through assignment

EPIC charting experience required
