About The Position

Schedule : Minimum 5+ shifts / month , mostly nights and weekends

Shift Options : 7p–7a or 7a–7p

12-hour shifts, flexible availability

Dates of Coverage : Ongoing locum, credentialing minimum 90 days

Join a physician-led organization in a busy community hospital environment with 16-bed ED and 27,000 annual visits . This is a locum role providing coverage across both Athens and Cambridge sites , supporting a fully staffed ED with 24 / 7 physician coverage and 36 hours / day APP coverage.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality emergency care for patients in a 16-bed ED

Work alongside on-site APPs and administrative support

Cover nights and weekends , minimum 5 shifts / month consistently

Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and EMR documentation (Meditech)

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Board Certified : Emergency Medicine OR Family Medicine / Internal Medicine with EM experience

OH State License – REQUIRED (IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ)

Mandatory Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP

COVID Vaccination – REQUIRED

Ability to work both sites as needed
