Staff Assistant 2 - Radiology

Job Summary :

This position will be responsible for answering calls coming into the Radiology Reading Rooms. Will represent Radiology in a positive and helpful manner to all callers and perform a wide variety of call center services (., take messages) to assist callers. Will answer, triage and transfer all incoming calls to the appropriate Radiologist and / or Radiology Resident, acquiring the appropriate information as needed to assist both the attending / resident and the caller. Must be proficient with multiple software programs for call processing and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications :

Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience preferably in a health care setting; or, equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities, have excellent communication and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Work Days :

40 hrs / week; Evening shift. Will be required to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
