Director, Privacy Counsel (Tarrytown)

An innovative, globally recognized life sciences organization is seeking a Privacy Counsel to join its legal team and drive the evolution of its data protection program. Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver expert legal guidance on diverse privacy matters, including handling sensitive data, digital marketing practices, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
• Evaluate privacy implications for new initiatives and recommend strategies to mitigate risk and implement effective controls.
• Design, update, and maintain internal privacy frameworks, including policies, procedures, and training programs to strengthen organizational compliance.
• Partner with internal governance teams to advance enterprise-wide privacy initiatives and best practices.
• Support commercial and operational teams by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating data processing agreements.
