As an Orangetheory Fitness Head Coach you will be responsible for coaching OTF workouts, managing schedules of coaching staff within the studio and motivating members of the studio while leading them through pre-defined workouts. While leading workouts coaches must be able to motivate members, and have the knowledge and ability to correct exercise form to prevent injuries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver predesigned workouts to groups up to 36-45 clients (studio dependent)
• Energize and motivate clients throughout the session
• Build OTF attendance and retain current members
• Ensure safety of participants in regards to heart rate and exercise technique
• Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
• Lead fitness staff meetings
• Handle member concerns
• Collaborate with OTF team and management in helping build the membership base and studio culture
• Assist Studio Manager and build a strong partnership
• Must take at least 2 OTF class per week
• Attend 2 OTF events a month

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
• Must hold OTFit fitness certification + one of the following nationally accredited fitness certification programs: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA or AFAA
• Bachelors degree in an exercise related field is preferred
• CPR/AED certification
• Preferably 2+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry
• Preferably 1+ years of team leadership
