About The Position
Job Title : Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Must-Have : Candidates must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
Description :
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization within the past year.
The unit has 33 beds, including 2 trauma bays.
It also contains 5 psych / seclusion rooms.
The average number of patients per day is between 125 and 140.
Required nurse-to-patient ratios are 3-4 : 1.
Emergency medicine focuses on various conditions such as stroke, STEMI, trauma, and ACS.
The department features a charge nurse on duty 24 / 7.
Emergency department technicians and security personnel are available 24 / 7.
All lab draws are conducted by nursing staff.
There is a dedicated IV team available 24 / 7 for support.
Pharmacy services are available round-the-clock.
Shift requirements include working every other weekend and occasionally on holidays.
The uniform color is navy blue for both tops and bottoms.
Float assignments may be required throughout the region if needed.
Charting is done using an electronic medical record system.
The cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
