Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible (BC / BE) general and advanced gastroenterologists to join our Louisville team.
Responsibilities
- Assist eight employed physicians and eight advanced practice clinicians with daily hospital rounds and clinic volume.
- Provide high‑volume, open‑access endoscopy services.
- Participate in a weekly weekend call rotation (one weekend every seven weekends). Attend inpatient hospital coverage with one week of daytime and one week of nighttime coverage every six weeks, plus compensation per shift.
- Develop an outpatient clinic and endoscopy schedule tailored to personal preference with block time.
- Utilize 24 / 7 anesthesia coverage for endoscopy procedures and ICU intensivist coverage to reduce nighttime call volume.
Qualifications
Board certification or eligibility in general or advanced gastroenterology.Experience in high‑volume endoscopy and outpatient clinic settings.Ability to work flexible schedule including weekend and inpatient coverage.Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.Incentive Overview
