We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Westlake Village, CA 91362
A lovely family near the Westlake/Agoura Hills border is seeking an experienced, calm, yet playful and loving, kind and attentive part-time nanny for their energetic 2.5-year-old, with a newborn arriving in June, for an immediate start. Care is needed Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9am-5pm.
Beginning mid-June, the schedule will shift to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-5pm through August 14th. At that time, the schedule will change beginning August 17th to Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The toddler will begin preschool in June, with their schedule fluctuating each month, at which point care will primarily focus on the newborn during most of those days.
The ideal candidate is active, organized, and attentive, enjoys outdoor play, and is comfortable remaining in the child’s room during nap time to support a work-from-home parent. This is a long-term role for a nanny looking to grow with the family.

- Beginning August 17th: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
- Compensation: $30 to start per hour + gas reimbursement when driving the children
Responsibilities
- Children’s laundry
- Diaper changing and potty-training support
- Driving children to local parks and preschool (within 10 minutes)
- Engaging in age-appropriate play (arts & crafts, reading, outdoor play, etc.)
- Preparing meals and snacks (breakfast and lunch) (lactose intolerance awareness)
- Light housekeeping related to the children; tidying play areas and bedrooms, assistance folding Mom and Dad's clean laundry when they can or have availability
- Restocking children’s supplies as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional newborn care experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional toddler care experience
- Prior nannying experience required
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Ability to pass background and social media screenings
- Fluent in English
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and valid auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle that fits two children (car seats provided; occasional use of family vehicle possible)
- Non-smoking position (smoke-free environment required due to mom’s severe allergy)
- Physically able to lift a 34-pound toddler
Compensation
This position pays $30 per hour, and the family is looking for 24 hours of care per week through June 2026
- Position will shift to 32 hours per week starting in June, or once second child arrives.
