Physiatrist / Sports medicine Physician

Position Overview:
A growing, high-volume spine surgery practice with multiple locations across the NYC metro and northern NJ area is seeking a Physiatrist or Sports Medicine-trained Physician to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, outpatient position with no call, no nights, no weekends, and no hospital work, offering a fantastic work-life balance in a well-supported clinical environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations focused on musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions

• Collaborate with surgeons, PAs, and physical therapists to manage non-operative treatment plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging

• Perform in-office procedures as appropriate

• Guide patients through conservative care, pre-op, and post-op pathways

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Sports Medicine

• Active NY and/or NJ medical license (or ability to obtain)

• Experience with spine and musculoskeletal medicine strongly preferred

• Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
