Job description

General Summary :

The APP, under the supervision of Physicians, is responsible for :

  • Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric patients.
  • Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
  • Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed
  • Collaborates with providers and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff
  • Combination of outpatient in person visits as well as virtual visits
  • Displays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growth

Schedule Details :

  • Primary Schedule : Full-time Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Primary Location : The Village – Middleton (Practice to compete construction in 2026
  • Tentative Start Date of Q1 2026
  • Opportunity to pick up additional hours when needed at other locations across Central Florida

    • Education and Experience Required :

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
  • Minimum of 5 years pediatric experience

    • Licensure, Certification, and Registration Required :

  • Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license
  • ANCC, AANP, PNP-PC / AC, or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification
  • Current BLS required
