About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team. This team is responsible for managing and evolving a complex CI / CD pipeline that spans Octopus Deploy, GitHub, and AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation, deployment stability, and continuous improvement.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team managing over 50 environments and 400+ servers, with a focus on customizing, stabilizing, and automating deployment workflows.

e Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and stabilize CI / CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy and GitHub Actions with a strong emphasis on security.
  • Develop and maintain deployment scripts using PowerShell.
  • Troubleshoot and support existing configurations involving Terraform and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with development and SRE teams to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual intervention.
  • Manage secrets securely using AWS KMS.
  • Create and maintain reusable scripts and templates for deployment automation.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in DevOps roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Octopus Deploy or similar deployment orchestration tools.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of GitHub workflows and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with AWS services and architecture.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues across Windows and Linux environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Filebeat, CloudWatch).
  • Exposure to F# or other functional programming languages.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a plus.
