Responsibilities Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit within a critical access facility Care for mother and baby throughout all phases of OB, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 1, 1 : 2, and 1 : 4 Requires night shift (3x12 hours, 19 : 00-07 : 00) with every other weekend scheduling Use of Epic EMR is required Scrub color is flexible with OR scrubs provided Travelers must be prepared to float within all units and potentially to facilities within the state Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in all stages of obstetric care Must complete facility-required modules pre-start and annually Return travelers must wait three months prior to returning if previously employed on staff Any requested time off must be submitted upfront as post-offer RTO requests are not guaranteed No on-call responsibilities First-time travelers are welcome Requirements Active MT or compact state RN license required Minimum 2 years of current LDRP experience required NRP certification required Compliance with a 50-mile local radius rule References from 2 supervisory staff covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years Epic charting experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629939.
