Job descriptionWork in a hospital Cath / IR Lab setting Primary focus on adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, PTCA, TAVR, Left Atrial Appendage Closure, MitraClip, and peripheral vascular interventions Schedule is 7 : 30AM-5 : 00PM, four 9-hour shifts per week (4x9s), with weekday and weekend on-call rotations from 5 : 00PM-7 : 30AM 20-week contract assignment Team comprised of RNs and Radiology Technologists Utilizes the Epic EMR system, prior experience required Responsibilities include hemodynamic monitoring, identifying arrhythmias, administering sedation and medications, and providing detailed procedural documentation Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to facilitate patient care and adapt to emergent situations Participate in ongoing departmental education, team-based care, and professional growth opportunities including lecture series and procedural training Work as part of a close-knit team providing 1 : 1 patient care No travel partners accepted for this assignment RTO (requested time off) not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Returning travelers cannot work more than one consecutive year at Carle Health without a 6-month break Active Illinois RN license (temporary license accepted) Current BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association Minimum of three years relevant nursing experience required Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) required EPIC charting experience required Level 1 trauma experience required Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted) High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
