Job descriptionAttend and manage high-risk deliveries Perform neonatal resuscitations and intubations Insert and manage umbilical and peripheral lines Provide comprehensive care for critically ill NICU patients Active Indiana License Board Certification required Certifications : DEA, PALS Experience : Prior NICU / Neonatology experience strongly preferred Access professional development resources and educational programs offered by different facilities, staying updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines. Assume leadership roles or managerial responsibilities in interim positions or short-term assignments, honing your leadership skills and management expertise. About The Position
Opportunity Overview
We are seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to provide in-house night shift coverage for a Level III Regional Perinatal Center in Indiana. This position offers both full-time and part-time schedules and involves caring for critically ill newborns in a high-acuity setting.
Assignment Details
- Schedule : Tuesday–Sunday
- Shift Hours : 5 : 00 PM–7 : 00 AM or 6 : 00 PM–8 : 00 AM (14-hour shifts)
- Setting : Inpatient – NICU
- Charting : Real-time documentation required within 24 hours
- Average Census : 12–15 patients
- Patient Demographic : Newborns
- Supervision : Collaborative practice with an on-call neonatologist
