About The Position
Opportunity Overview
We are seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to provide in-house night shift coverage for a Level III Regional Perinatal Center in Indiana. This position offers both full-time and part-time schedules and involves caring for critically ill newborns in a high-acuity setting.
Assignment Details
- Schedule : Tuesday–Sunday
- Shift Hours : 5 : 00 PM–7 : 00 AM or 6 : 00 PM–8 : 00 AM (14-hour shifts)
- Setting : Inpatient – NICU
- Charting : Real-time documentation required within 24 hours
- Average Census : 12–15 patients
- Patient Demographic : Newborns
- Supervision : Collaborative practice with an on-call neonatologist
Responsibilities
Attend and manage high-risk deliveriesPerform neonatal resuscitations and intubationsInsert and manage umbilical and peripheral linesProvide comprehensive care for critically ill NICU patientsRequirements
Active Indiana LicenseBoard Certification requiredCertifications : DEA, PALSExperience : Prior NICU / Neonatology experience strongly preferredJoin a respected neonatal team in a well-established hospital system serving families throughout southern Indiana.
