As a Drainage Engineer-In-Training you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish. We are looking for someone to work in our Pleasant Grove or Salt Lake City office.

What are the core responsibilities for the role?

• Work as part of the drainage team under the direction of Senior Hydraulics Engineers to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design for transportation projects.
• Use a variety of modeling software and tools to analyze and design drainage systems including storm drains, culverts, ditches, and water quality and stormwater management facilities.
• Use CADD to prepare plans and digital files for bidding and construction.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to provide the best value and service to our clients.
• Your work will include design, calculations, and plan development.
• Apply and adhere to industry and client standards.
• Take ownership of and complete assigned tasks.
