Junior Tax Associate

PrideStaff Financial is recruiting for a Junior Tax Associate. The Junior Tax Associate is a full-time, direct hire position with a TOP 25 Accounting firm in Roseville, CA.

The Junior Tax Associate will perform a variety of tasks preparing and reviewing tax returns, client engagement, reviewing and preparing financial statements. The ideal Junior Tax Associate will have an active CPA license or actively working towards licensure with 3+ years of Public Accounting experience. You will receive an opportunity for advancement with potential to become a Partner.

Junior Tax Associate Duties & Responsibilities :

Prepare Complex Tax Returns & Tax Research For Individual & Business

Provide Primary & Secondary Review of Complex Tax Returns

Prepare Quarterly Sales Tax, 1099’s & 571-L For Clients

Review Tax Information Supplied by Clients; May Meet With or Call Clients With Questions

Prepares General Ledger Entries & Appropriate Reconciliations For Month-End, Quarterly & Year-End Closing For Clients

Perform Financial Statement Analysis

Prepares Compilations For Different Types of Business Entities

Work Closely With Partners & Staff on Client Management, Practice Development, & Business Development Activities

Junior Tax Associate Requirements & Qualifications :

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Bachelors in Accounting or Related Field & Holds or is Pursuing a CPA License

3+ Years of Public Accounting Experience Preferred

Previous Experience Managing Multiple Client Engagements

Must Have Knowledge of Accounting Software Such as Lacerte, QuickBooks, MS Office, & Adobe Acrobat

Must be a Self-Starter & Highly Organized to Meet Deadlines

Must be Able to Work Overtime From February 1st to April 15th

Demonstrates Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills

Excellent Analytical, Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills
