Staff Engineer

Kumar & Associates is seeking a project level geotechnical engineer for our Glenwood Springs office.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Prepare project specific scope and fee proposals
• Manage projects from proposal development through completion
• Occasional construction site visits to help identify issues and provide our clients with workable solutions
• Perform engineering analysis to develop project specific geotechnical recommendations
• Generate and present well written geotechnical studies

QUALIFICATIONS :

A Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical / civil engineering or similar

4+ years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing experience

Registered professional engineer (PE) in the State of Colorado or ability to be obtained within 3 months.

Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate in English.

Must have a valid CO driver's license, and acceptable driving record (per MVR).
