Job Overview

The Dental Assistant is primarily responsible for preparing treatment rooms and providing support to patients and assisting the dentists with a variety of treatment procedures.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Location : Periop and Surgical Procedure Center
• Job Information : PRN - not eligible for benefits
• Shift Details : Typically needed :

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11am - 1400.

Plus 1 Monday per month from 11am-1400.

Additional intermittent needs to cover PTO and unexpected sick calls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION - High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant certification program.

EXPERIENCE - No experience required. Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred.

EQUIVALENCY - Five years of chair side dental assistant experience may substitute for graduation from a Dental Assistant certification program.

CERTIFICATION(S) - State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Surgical Assistant or Surgical Tech Registration; CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers. Radiology certificate preferred.

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Hourly Range : $19.37 to $29.05
