Description : The Clienttion Therapist will administer ionizing radiation and radioactive substances to patients under the supervision of a Clienttion Oncologist and in accordance with Client guidelines. The Clienttion Therapist must operate high voltage machinery safely and accurately. They should communicate to pertinent personnel when malfunctions occur. The professional will concern themselves with the welfare of the patient at all times. Conduct themselves in a responsible and professional manner. Completion of a training program in a Clienttion Therapy Technology program in an AMA approved school is required. This must meet the requirements for registry by the ARRT. They must be licensed as a Clienttion Therapist by the State of Client. The Clienttion Therapist provides radiation therapy to patients as prescribed. They must adhere to established practices and standards. They will accurately enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into the electronic medical record. They should accurately interpret a computerized treatment plan. The Clienttion Therapist must observe patients daily for reactions and report any adverse reactions immediately. They will report these to the Clienttion Oncology Nurse or the Clienttion Oncologist. The professional should facilitate complex problem solving regarding technical issues. Displaying professional conduct is essential to the well-being of the radiation oncology patient. They must adhere to radiation safety protocols.
