Your Role
As a Diesel Technician IV , you bring advanced expertise across all major systems on our luxury motorcoach fleet - and you know how to push performance beyond the basics. You’re the tech that gets called when the job requires precision, creativity, and deep technical judgment.
This role is built for a seasoned technician who thrives on solving the toughest challenges - from advanced electrical rewiring to high-performance engine tuning. You’ll also play a critical role in raising the bar across the shop by mentoring Techs I–III, improving repair processes, and helping leadership spot system-wide improvements.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostics, rewiring, and repairs across electrical (12V / 24V), drivetrain, HVAC, suspension, generator, and power systems
Tune and repair high-performance diesel engines to maximize fuel efficiency, emissions performance, and long-term durability
Troubleshoot and resolve full-coach failures including HVAC zone issues, load balancing, generator failures, and custom electrical problems
Redesign or modify electrical systems to support coach upgrades or specialized customer configurations
Lead complex drivetrain repairs involving differentials, transmissions, and driveshafts
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to processes, tooling, or scheduling
Mentor and support Diesel Tech I–III technicians on diagnostics, best practices, and advanced repair techniques
Partner with leadership to plan and execute shop-wide improvements and fleet maintenance strategies
Minimum Requirements
Nice to Have
Experience working on Prevost or luxury motorcoach platforms
Skilled in fuel system optimization, emissions control, and powertrain performance tuning
Familiar with creating or refining preventive maintenance programs
