Travel Sterile Processing Technician - $1,320 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a travel job in Willoughby, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Sterile Processing Technician Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 20 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, evenings Employment Type : Travel Shift : 1 : 00 PM – 9 : 30 PM (Mon–Fri); every 4th weekend 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM Contract Length : 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours : 40 Summary : The Certified Instrument Processing Technician is responsible for decontaminating, sterilizing, and preparing reusable medical devices in accordance with manufacturer IFUs, AAMI guidelines, and hospital policies. Duties include performing quality assurance and maintenance checks on processing equipment, maintaining accurate logs and inventory, and ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards. The technician supports department operations by monitoring expiration dates, managing supplies, and assisting colleagues as a knowledgeable team member. Requirements : Education : High school diploma or GED required; Sterile Processing program graduate preferred. Experience : Less than 1 year in central sterilization or HLD department, or Sterile Processing program graduate. Certifications (one required) : SPT, CER, CRCST, or CSPDT. Instrument Specialist certification preferred. Skills : Proficiency in steam and low-temp sterilization, decontamination, HLD, and equipment testing. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
