Levels :

• Level I – Must be able to achieve many objectives of this position. Requires some amount of timely supervision to ensure the proper tasks are being accomplished and that communication is adequate, timely, in the correct manner (i.e. verbal, written, email, etc.)
• Level II - Consistently achieves all the objectives of this position.  This individual also provides mentoring and direct day-to-day supervision to level I positions.
• Senior - Highly experienced in the position.  Has advanced skills at laying out and managing others.  Has a good understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems in a building and how controls and special systems integrate to them.   Understands basic theory behind building systems operations and can assist in troubleshooting both installation and operation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Oversee the installation of various construction projects in Raleigh, Durham, and the surrounding areas

Ensure that all installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that all installations are executed efficiently and effectively

Provide guidance and support to junior team members

Maintain accurate records of all installations and provide regular progress reports to project managers.

Utilize your strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools to oversee the installation of various construction projects.

Utilize your communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that all installations are executed efficiently and effectively.

Utilize your ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Be responsible for overseeing the installation of various construction projects in Raleigh, Durham, and the surrounding areas.

Ensure that all installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that all installations are executed efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in construction installation

3+ Years of Proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing installation projects

Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with Microsoft Office

Ability to successfully pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications :

5+ Years of experience in Building Automation Low Voltage Wiring

5+ Years of Proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing installation projects

Experience reading Engineered Drawings and Specifications

Essential Job Functions :

Be able to lift and carry ladders, drawings, personal computers, material, etc.

Be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Be able to spend significant time standing and walking on construction sites.

Be able to climb several flights of stairs or ladders throughout a typical day on a construction site.

Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Climatec’s vehicle policy, allows the individual to drive on company business.

Be physically able to kneel, stoop and crawl.

Must have accurate color vision and maintain clear visual acuity to safely and effectively perform job responsibilities.
