Plant Manager

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations at the site to ensure safety, product quality, and achievement of business objectives. This position provides leadership in production, maintenance, scheduling, safety, product quality, and strategic planning. The role involves driving continuous improvement while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily production floor operations, ensuring interdepartmental collaboration.
• Meet and exceed plant performance expectations in cost, quality, safety, and service.
• Analyze and improve plant operations and key metrics.
• Champion site safety by ensuring compliance with all safety programs and procedures.
• Develop and implement strategies for productivity increase and continuous improvement.
• Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis initiatives.
• Promote and enforce quality compliance and culture, including HACCP, SQF, and GMPs.
• Collaborate with the Quality department to resolve customer complaints and audit findings.
• Provide leadership and guidance to managers and supervisors for development and succession planning.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering for capital projects and maintenance activities.
• Manage site budgets and deliver cost reductions.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.
• Accountable for all aspects of site performance in a 24 / 7 manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 / yr. Excellent benefits with many different options. Local, family-owned and growing company.
