HVAC Technician

Our client, a leading R&D organization, is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their team.

As a HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) department supporting a team of skilled engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, flexibility, and a willingness to learn—qualities that align well with the collaborative and dynamic nature of the site.

Job Title :   HVAC Technician

Location :   Rockville, MD – 14200 Shady Grove Rd

Pay : $45-$50 per hour

What’s the Job?

Monitor and maintain large steam plant equipment, including 600 HP boilers and chillers

Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks

Support building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

Collaborate with engineering team to maintain optimal facility performance

What’s Needed?

Maryland Stationary Engineer License (1st grade preferred; 2nd or 3rd accepted)

At least 3 years of experience in steam plant maintenance

HVAC, minor plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting skills

High School Diploma or GED
