QMHP-CS II / Counselor LPHA (Waco, TX)

Performs mental health services for children and adolescents experiencing crisis. Work involves conducting crisis interviews and clinical assessments; site-crisis coverage for referrals and, provision of continuity of care to referred mental health individuals in crisis. Works under moderate supervision of the Supervisor with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment in carrying out details of the work.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED :

• Provides on-site crisis assessments and develops intervention plans.
• Provides crisis counseling and support as deemed necessary.
• Coordinates referrals to community-based providers
• Provides crisis assessments in the community including hospitals.
• Prepares progress notes and other required documentation.

Experience and Training

Education

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree with a major in behavioral, social sciences, humanities, or education, as well as full licensure as a LCSW, LPC, and / or LMFT or be actively working toward licensure is required

Hours : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Salary : $48,150-$64,000 Hourly $23.1490-$30.7692 Depending on Experience and Licensure
