Light Commercial, Residential HVAC Service Technicians and Installers

Northern Mechanical Services, Inc., a well established HVAC company in Queensbury, NY, is looking for all levels (with at least a minimum of 5 years HVAC experience) of HVAC Service Technicians and Installers for gas and oil furnaces, boilers, mini splits, heat pumps, water heaters and air conditioning systems. A valid driver's license is a must.

Our dedicated dispatch team has thoughtfully prepared and organized your schedule to ensure a smooth and efficient workday. You'll be in close contact with our dispatch team, frequently relying on one another to tackle and fulfill the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems in both residential and light commercial settings.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including refrigeration systems.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct field service visits to customer locations for installations and repairs.
• Ensure proper functioning of air conditioning units and other related equipment.
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge in the HVAC field to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

As we offer 24 hour emergency service, Service Technicians will be required to fill on-call hours with specialized on-call pay. Your standard work week is Monday through Friday with an on-call rotation. We service Warren, Washington and Saratoga counties.

We follow a 90 day probationary policy which at the end of this period. Health / Dental insurance is available 30 days from hire date. After one year, technicians qualify for vacation time, personal time and retirement account. Pay varies depending on experience.
