The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineers own the full development lifecycle, from concept generation, to integration and flight test, ensuring high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and develop mechanical components for avionics LRUs, including enclosures, mounting systems, and thermal management solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical designs with electronic systems.
• Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to validate designs under various environmental conditions.
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD).
• Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of LRUs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of designs.

US Salary Range

$120,000 - $213,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and / or training, critical skills, and / or business considerations.
