Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : rounding patients per day Admissions : Yes Rounding : Yes (solo possible on weekends) Case Mix : General inpatient cardiology Specialty Backup Available : Variable; APP support may vary Support Staff Available : Advanced Providers (APPs) variably available; solo rounding possible on weekends Reason for Coverage : Ongoing general cardiology needs Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Credentialing Timeline : 30 days minimum Procedure Log Criteria : Must demonstrate active cardiology practice for at least 50 patients in past 12 months at an accredited hospital; logs must include provider s name, facility name, and date range Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance General inpatient cardiology; no interventional or EP required Licenses : Active Florida medical license required Certifications : Board Certified in Cardiology Experience : Recent inpatient cardiology experience required Fellowship : Required in Cardiology Other Qualifications : Clean NPDB and background check Provide inpatient rounding coverage for general cardiology cases Work weekday shifts and participate in weekend / holiday coverage as needed Collaborate with other providers and APPs (if available) Meet privileging requirements with documented recent cardiology activity
