How You'll Make An Impact
The Accounts Payable Specialist role facilitates the processing of non-trade accounts payable invoices. Provides support to the Accounts Payable acquisition team. Analyzes payables data as requested. Communicates with various individuals from branch offices, finance areas, and merger & acquisition teams. Obtains all necessary documentation for processing. Uploads invoices into accounts payable system. Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices. Responds to questions regarding invoices. Researches and resolves invoice issues, escalates more complex issues to accounts payable manager. Provides research and documentation to assist regional and corporate accounting teams. Adheres to compliance and operational risk controls and regulatory standards and policies and practices. Assists accounts payable team with various projects as needed.
About You
Required : High school diploma and 1 year related experience required. Preferred : Knowledge of general accounting procedures 3 or more years related experience Intermediate Excel knowledge Organizing / prioritizing Attention to detail and accuracy Problem analysis and problem solving skills Communication skills
