Phlebotomist / Lab Tech

The Greer Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a long-term temporary position (6+ weeks). This is with a client located in Raleigh. Flexibility to work other offices, Wake Forest, Zebulon, Fuquay-Varina, and North Raleigh is needed.

Job Description :

• Performs all phlebotomy procedures in a timely manner.
• Performs procedures according to physician’s orders in the patient’s chart or per prescription on outpatients.
• Responsible for working collaboratively with other members to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of patient care.
• Assumes, under the direction of the laboratory, responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement and equipment maintenance.
• Candidates must have a minimum of High School Diploma and a Certificate / Diploma from an Accredited Phlebotomy training program.
• National certification (ASCP, ASPT, etc.) preferred.
• Able and willing to commute to different locations (reliable transportation).
• Must be professional in communication and presentation.
• Strongly prefer experienced candidates with minimum of two years, performing venipuncture on both adults and adolescents.
• Complete a successful background check and drug screen.
