Responsibilities Work in an acute care, Level II Trauma diagnostic radiology department Assignment includes both inpatient and outpatient cases, with experience in the OR and ER required Use of Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 equipment Evening shifts on Mon-Wed from 3 : 00 PM to 1 : 30 AM every other week CT experience is a requirement for this position Must be prepared to work holidays as needed Orientation includes 1-2 shifts in the department Scrub color is teal; OR scrubs provided when working in the operating room Position includes working with C-arms in the OR Radiologist is on-site until 6 PM, then on-call Department is well-staffed, but resources may be more limited on night shifts Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment Level II trauma experience is preferred, but not required Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiology Technologist CT experience required Active ARRT (R), BLS, and Fluoroscopy certifications required through the state of CA License required if applicable Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high acuity trauma setting is essential Must be a self-starter able to work independently Providing a copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration Two professional references required : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months, and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years (including dates of employment and rehire eligibility) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630386.
