Job descriptionProvide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk. Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and logging visitors and contractors as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, such as contacting emergency services or building management. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Support building management and residents by addressing inquiries and providing information about the location's policies and procedures. Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts at Allied Universal or building management. Assist with the handling and delivery of packages and mail in accordance with location guidelines. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Residential Front Desk
As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.
As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and guests, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to security-related incidents, and offering assistance as needed. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Join our team and help to deter incidents while supporting a caring and reliable environment built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
