Supervisory Aircraft Loadmaster (Instructor)
The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (INSTRUCTOR), GS-2185-11, is to serve as a first level supervisor over subordinate loadmasters and as an aircrew member. Plans, directs, and manages operational and training matters pertaining to assigned loadmasters. In addition, performs aircrew duties as an instructor loadmaster in the unit type aircraft (C-17, C-32 and C-130 Series aircraft). May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
Priority consideration is first given to the areas below :
Military Grades : E-7 or E-8
Possess experience in functions such as preparing aircraft loading plans, loading and offloading aircraft, operating loading equipment, and ensuring security of cargo in flight. Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-10 level experience in ensuring metrics are established and monitored to assess key result areas for successful mission accomplishment including, but not limited to, items where non-compliance would affect system reliability or result in serious injury, loss of life, excessive cost, or litigation; Experience managing the Loadmaster Standardization evaluation program; Experience developing and providing instruction on MAFFS, fire behavior and inflight MAFF duties to US as well as foreign nationals.

CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED : This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the California National Guard.
