CityVerse is a dynamic, web-based SaaS application tailored for land acquisition, energy development, and municipal planning. As Product Manager, you will serve as the strategic and operational anchor for the platform-leading product vision, coordinating cross-functional execution, and ensuring client success through continuous improvement and innovation. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-based platforms, agile methodologies, and the unique needs of public sector and infrastructure-focused clients.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features.
  • Manage product backlogs and sprint planning using Azure DevOps.
  • Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Monitor product performance using analytics tools and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Engage with clients and industry experts to gather feedback and validate solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales to support go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee Development and Support operations and supervise systems and staff
  • Provide direction, guidance, and training to staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and evolve the product roadmap, prioritizing features such as Microsoft SSO, SOC 2 compliance, and UI redesigns.
  • Translate client feedback and internal goals into actionable development tasks and enhancement requests.
  • Lead ideation and planning for new modules including downtime tracking, billing logic, and AI integrations.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate across development, QA, support, and customer success teams to align execution with business goals.
  • Manage UAT cycles, DevOps updates, and deployment readiness.
  • Author technical documentation, scripts, and job descriptions.
  • Job Requirements

  • 5 years in SaaS product management, ideally with exposure to Azure-hosted applications, including leadership of cross-functional teams and strategic product planning.
  • Experience in industries like land management, energy, public sector, or infrastructure-focused clients is highly valuable.
  • Experience leading and managing Development and Support teams.
  • Knowledge of land management, energy infrastructure, or municipal planning workflows.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to represent products at a professional level.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with the manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
  • Technical Knowledge

  • Cloud Infrastructure (Azure) :
  • Understanding of Azure services like App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Monitor.
  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines and CI / CD using Azure DevOps.
  • SaaS Architecture :
  • Multi-tenant architecture, subscription models, and licensing strategies.
  • Security and compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2) relevant to government and energy sectors.
  • Domain Expertise :
  • Knowledge of land use planning, GIS systems, energy infrastructure, or municipal project workflows.
  • Understanding regulatory environments and stakeholder needs in public sector or energy.
  • Agile Product Development :
  • Experience with Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
  • Backlog management, sprint planning, and release coordination.
  • Data & Analytics :
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools for reporting and insights.
  • Ability to define and track KPIs like user adoption, retention, and feature usage.
  • Certifications (Optional but Valuable)

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals / Azure Administrator Associate
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • GIS Certification (as the product integrates with mapping or spatial data)
  • SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (for scaled agile environments)
  • Equipment and Systems Experience

  • Azure DevOps :

  • Pipelines for CI / CD
  • Repos for source control
  • Analytics & Feedback :
  • Power BI, Mixpanel, or Amplitude for usage tracking
  • Typeform, UserTesting, or Hotjar for user feedback
  • GIS Tools (if applicable) :
  • ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or integrations with mapping APIs
  • Communication & Collaboration :
